Thousand Needles In Red National Tour
Thousand Needles In Red National Tour

At first glance, Thousand Needles In Red resemble a familiar trope of the Australian music industry - the side-project. Formed in 2009 around the partnership of journeyman guitarist Tristan Bouillaut (most famously of Sydney rockers Kill The Capitol) and Vox Music Academy student, vocalist Clint Boge, (of Brisbane rockers The Butterfly Effect), the band's aggressive sound - coupled with members' pedigrees - saw them immediately positioned as a side-project of the more successful The Butterfly Effect.

The Vasco Era

Bryget Chrisfield has always thought THE VASCO ERA capable of achieving international acclaim. “I’d rather be normal, a normal guy,” frontman SID O’Neil admits. His bassist brother TED believes, “There was a bit of self-sabotage – not deliberate.”
CREEPSHOW – Saturday October 29, The Espy
CREEPSHOW - Saturday October 29, The Espy
The lineup for this year’s edition of Creepshow was extremely strong, and much devilish and rocking fun was had by all. Moroccan Kings took the stage, dressed as Red Indians, and tore the Espy front bar down with their funky but bold take on alternative rock. Their sound and performance is ultra quirky, but they have a massive sound for a three piece. Heaps of fun.
Singing Lessons and Vocal Coaching
Singing and Vocal Lessons
Lessons are private and run for half an hour though you can request an hour class. For your first lesson your teacher will find out a little about yourself, e.g. what you wish to do with your voice, musical influences, directions and goals, your experience as a singer and performer and most importantly the points that you want to work on and improve with your voice, performance and career. You will also be required to sing on your first lesson so an assessment can be made by your teacher as to what kind of voice it is that you are, e.g. bass, baritone or tenor for males and contralto, alto or soprano for females. These categories simply mean whether your voice is low, middle or high range. Your teacher will advise you on your strong and weak points, and your weaker points will be worked on using different scales, breathing and singing techniques developed by Vox Singing Academy. No two students have the same range, genre they are interested in, or song choice preferences. Every student develops at a different pace depending on ability and level of commitment.
