Glass Empire is an Alternative Rock band formed in the South Eastern suburbs in late 2009. Drawing on influences like Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and Closure In Moscow, their music is a blend of big riffs, catchy melodies and genre-bending sounds. They have played at various venues across Melbourne, including the Hifi Bar, The Espy's Gershwin Room, Ferntree Gully Hotel and many more. They have supported and worked with bands such as Crash And Burn, InVolume, My Catalyst and Missfire.

Having spent the better part of 2010 finding their sound, they have been working on material for their upcoming debut EP, to be released mid 2011. The first song off the EP, Sounds, is available to be downloaded from Triple J Unearthed, or streamed on Facebook. They will be starting their first national tour in March this year You can check them out at www.facebook.com/glassempire
